We have an immediate opening for a Senior Information Security Analyst in support of our customer in Chantilly, VA. This is a full-time employee position with Arena Technologies and requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph.

 

Position Description:

The Analyst will investigate and report anomalies to RMG, specifically the DAO assigned to the system.  Develop and maintain a dashboard identifying metrics and measurements feeds that will formulate executive views into IA activity.  The Analyst will be responsible for the IA program of the IS.  They will be expected to perform a variety of security related tasks, including the development and implementation of system information security standards and procedures as well as ensuring the IS are functional and secure.  They will apply knowledge and IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to develop, implement, and maintain a secure IS. 

 

  • Proficient / Advance knowledge of IT networks and best practices to ensure, uniformity when advising other parties of data ingest into security tool suites.
  • Contribute to a team environment from various backgrounds regarding different data sets and how they will be used to streamline process improvement and data mining.  
  • Inputting monthly compliance numbers in the DoD and IC approved software suites
  • Responding to ad hoc request for information from DoD (Taskord/Fragos) IC-SCC (Tippers).
  • Compiling with agency policy for IAVM weekly and monthly reporting metrics to the agency Enterprise.
  • Compiling and preparing DoD & IC audit reports for senior leadership to send to external agencies for compliance metrics.
  • Tracking and documenting internal POA&M for the agency Enterprise for vulnerability and STIG Compliance.
  • Attend monthly compliance working groups to gather insight into further development of security tool suites and disseminating information to internal agency customer.
  • Proficient / Advance knowledge of Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS) / Tenable Security Center in terms of creating dashboard & reports and running advance queries.
  • Proficient / Advance knowledge of ACAS baseline and support engineering and other parties to understand how best to implement ACAS data feeds into multiple cyber tool suites.

  • Performing ad-hoc / troubleshooting taskers from senior management / engineers / the community to identify and assess IT systems within the agency infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
  • Compile weekly and bi-monthly reports to show compliance metrics across several IT systems for senior leadership dissemination.
  • Creating and developing new vulnerability graphics and presentation at the request of client.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • IA certification
  • ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance
